This is the personal blog and link list of me, Mikko.

Here you will find links or articles about things that pique my curiosity. Mostly things that have something to do with programming, web ops, start-ups, gadgets or games.

I’ve been programming since the early 90s. First the Amiga with AMOS. Then PCs with Pascal and C. In early 2000 I started doing web development with PHP.

Last twelve years or so I’ve been programming projects with Python. At the same time I’ve been really interested in learning the JVM ecosystem and doing functional programming with Clojure.

I’m currently Lead Software Developer at Helen.

My previous work history includes being a consultant at New Things Company (merged with Witted), Senior Solutions Architect at Anders Innovations, Tech Lead at OneMind Dogs, Senior Software Engineer at Gecko Landmarks (Defunct), and the CTO at YogaMe (Defunct). Before those I was the Product Manager of a CMS at Poutapilvi web design.

I’ve also implemented many different systems for various clients through my sole proprietorship.
